The Meeting of the Birds
The birds are conferring outside
Hushed cries behind parked cars
gulls listen intently to magpie's secrets
swooping in close
causing the meeting to adjourn.
Back, after a coffee break
The bird's meeting continues
"Know you, this is not mine fault."
"You SHUT UP!" Annie desperately wanted to turn and yell at the voice coming from her backpack, but she knew she would just end up going in circles.
"I am just saying-If you have not not believed my instructions, be in this mess we would not."
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Annie stopped walking and stood completely still. She felt the swamp mud pull her in, going over the tops of her shoes.
"Back in town. I said, 'Go left'. You said, 'No, I am smart, English speaking girl, I know where we should go.' And went your way, getting us lost."
"The sign said, 'Mud swamp-LEFT'. I am more inclined to
"No. I absolutely refuse."
"Whhhhhhhy?"
"Because the entire idea is ridiculous! I don't know a thing about fighting wars!"
"But...you're the chosen one."
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS."
"An ancient prophecy revealed that one of your blood, born under the right stars--"
"Yes yes, you told me all that. But still. I would be useless. I don't know how to fight wars, I can't use a sword, I don't--I don't think I've ever even SEEN a sword in real life!"
"That doesn't matter, we can teach you! It will be a long and difficult journey, but you must prevail! The fate of our world depends on it! Now quickly, no time to waste, we must be off!"

SCUSE ME CAN I TALK TO YA'LL A MINUTE
NOW LISTEN CLOSE
I think I'm done writing Ferngully.
It gets old, having people tell me that a story I wrote mostly for lols is the best thing I've ever written.
The first one I wrote has over 1000 views, while an original story that I LOVE LOVE LOVE has seventeen.
So please Internet, please.
Validate some of the stuff I really like, kay?
So. I have officially entered real life.
In the course I'm in at university, I have to go to field placement in a daycare for five weeks out of the year. This means: no final exams for me. AND PLEASE don't yell at me for that. I joke about how I know everyone hates me for it, but it's getting old. I've been working DAMN hard for the past month, and people seem to forget that. I'm doing eight hour working days with a forty minute transit to just get there in the morning, with forty minutes on the way back.
No, that's not fair. It only takes me half an hour to get home. I have NO IDEA WHY. I've timed myself, and watched my watch. It takes me
Should I post the ending to 'Give You Hell' right now, or should I write a bit more middle first?
In the ending, you find out the Man's name (not really important, but still), and learn a bit more of what goes on in this version of Hell--like what happens to you and everything.
So....
I dunno.
