Reason, meaning or purpose behind the name: I saw something with a rock monster named 'Quarry' and I fell in love with it as a name.

Nickname: "Hey, you there! Shortie!"

Reason for nickname: He's not a freaking GIANT and is a normal height for PEOPLE, thank you very much. (He's rather short for a troll) (But quite tall for a human)

Occupation/class: He does whatever people'll pay him for. Rat-killer, rat-watcher, repairman, whatever.

Social class: He doesn't really care, and neither do the other trolls.

Age: 214, which is rather young for trolls.

How old they appear: A man in his early 20s.

Eye Color: Bright red.

Glasses or contacts? No.

Hair color length and style: Black hair. Normally, he keeps it short (just above the ears) but he's been busy, so he needs a haircut.

Weight and height: Short (for a troll), so he's about six foot six, and he's heavy. Not at all fat, but he's covered in muscles--he's thick.

Type of body (build): Very muscular. His arms go out slightly, like a body-builder.

Skin tone and type: Olive green.

Shape of face: He has a very square jaw. The rest of his face works with that, so his head is shaped like a box.

Distinguishing marks: None, really. Except for the green skin.

Predominant feature: None. He blends.

Is s/he healthy?Yes. Four square meals a day, and he bathes regularly.

Literature: He doesn't read. His culture mostly tells stories passed down from generation to generation, so he knows a lot of stories, but he doesn't read.

Are they a daredevil or cautious: Fairly cautious. He plans out everything he does, but he'll do something spontaneous on occasion.

Greatest Strength: He can lift ANYTHING.

Greatest Weakness: He burns in sunlight really quickly. While in folklore and faerytales, trolls turn to stone in sunlight, the modern day troll has evolved to just burning quickly.

Is their soft spot obvious, why/why not: Not really. When he's with his uncles, he won't kick strays like they do, but if he's by himself or with certain others, he'll pet them and play with them.

He learned how when his uncles laughed at him and killed a dog in front of him.

Background
Hometown: Somewhere in Germany.

Type of childhood: Lived with his parents, but wanted to be more independent, so he ran away. Later, realized he was so not ready so he moved in with his uncles. He stills writes to his mother and father.

First Memory: Taking a bath with his mother and father in the river.

Most important child hood event that still effects him/her: When he ran away from home.

Why? Because it gave him an entirely different sort of home.

Education: He learned to hunt and fish from his father, and to gamble from his uncles.

Religion: He worships the earth and prays to the moon, as do most trolls. They believe that the first time the moon shone upon the bare earth, the first trolls were born to tend the soil and rocks. He isn't deeply religious, but he does pray nightly when the moon rises, and littering is a huge offense to his people and him.

Finances: No real job, so no steady paycheck. He gets by okay though.
